July 18, 2015 from noon to 7 PM is the 10th Annual Music for the Hungry at Onancock School. Presented by Johnny Mo, the Musical Chef, this family-friendly music festival has become a summer staple on the Shore with all proceeds going to the Eastern Shore Branch of the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. From noon until 7 p.m., attendees can rock out to live bands, enjoy delicious food, a BBQ throw-down competition, games, and other family fun! Admission is $10. NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility on Virginia’s Eastern Shore will celebrate the facility’s 70th Anniversary with an Open House, free and open to the public, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 27.

See areas involving sounding rockets, scientific balloons, launch range and aircraft operations not generally open to the public. Tours, displays, presentations,workshops, refreshments, activities for children. All events are free. Registration is required and will open in late May.
